Weekly Greeting - October 13th, 2023

Dear Bethlehem Family,

I know all of our hearts go out to the Israelis who have lost loved ones and those who were injured or still held as hostages in the recent attack by Hamas in Israel.  I am sure we are all praying for them during this frightening time.

Once again the people of Israel are under terrorist attack and their status as a nation threatened.

Hamas’s actions must be condemned and stopped.

The political situation in Israel is extremely complicated with the underlying conflict going back in large part to the Partition Resolution of the United Nations following WWII.  I encourage us all to pray for the Israelis and Palestinians to somehow find a way to live together in peace.  May we also join in praying that all the nations of the world would seek to truly work for peace and justice.  With God all things are possible!

Blessings,

Craig

We are continuing our stewardship Series this week, Beauty from Ashes as we reflect on ways our membership vows as United Methodist’s connect with living as disciples of Jesus Christ.

This week our text is from Daniel 5:23-24.  We will be exploring the generosity of God and the importance of allowing God’s grace to flow through us to others.
