CONTEMPORARIES
A class that is open to all with a majority having kids from middle school to adulthood, with both married and single parents with kids. Topics are largely targeted to contemporary topics with a focus on family and children but we do well discussing the state of Christianity and the church universal. In practice, this means we have done studies ranging from Andy Griffith series, to Adam Hamilton to World Religions. This class tends toward topics with accompanying videos; it's an active group (jobs, kids, etc. so they don't do well with a lot of homework). They discuss current events, theology, parenting, and more. The class focus is on fellowship and having a place to support each other. Expect easy-going, lively banter, some days they just catch up and visit – enjoy fellowship. The aim of this class is to have interesting topics, typically videos followed by discussion. All are welcome, especially those that can stand a lively banter among the class members.
