Weekly Greeting - August 25th, 2023
Dear Bethlehem Family,
This Sunday, we welcome Rev. Don Sensing who will be preaching in both worship services from the Gospel of Matthew. Rev. Sensing and his wife, Cathy, attended Bethlehem while Don was a student at Vanderbilt Divinity School. Come ready to connect with old friends and be blessed!
Blessings,
Craig
Join me for a Short-Term Disciple Bible Study this fall. We will be exploring the writings of the New Testament using the story of Jesus as a starting point. The eight-week study looks at how the early church was shaped by Jesus and learned how to develop as disciples and create communities of faith.
All the sessions focus on the call of Jesus:
Sessions:
Jesus Calls us to God’s Redemption Story
Jesus Calls us to a Transformed Life
Jesus Calls us to Minister to a Hostile World
Jesus Calls us to Complex Communities of Faith
Jesus Calls to Serve One Another
Jesus Calls us to a New Relationship with Tradition
Jesus Calls us to Live in Light of His Coming Again
Jesus Calls us to Experience the Gifts of His Dying and Rising
