Bethlehem is a partner church for Project Transformation (PT) again this year! PT has a day camp for children that provides structured reading time as well as fun crafts, music & games. BUMC will send reading volunteers to Antioch UMC on June 26-29 (9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.). We will also be collecting funds to purchase new books, snacks and school supplies for children in the summer program. Bethlehem furnishes two meals for the PT interns on May 22 and June 27. If you would like more information on how to volunteer, email Rebecca Little.

  • Project Transformation (PT) helps elementary and middle school aged children in low income areas maintain or improve their reading skills during the summer. Bethlehem volunteers will be reading partners the week of June 26 - 29. There’s a box in the narthex for snacks for the children - bring individual packages of pretzels, goldfish crackers, granola bars or fruit snacks. We’re also providing a meal for the PT interns - dinner on June 27. Sign up in the church office if you would like to bring something for one of the meals.

Many thanks to Stephanie Goff and Lisa Rippy for choosing books for us to order and donate to Project Transformation. There are a couple of other opportunities to serve:

We are feeding 30 PT interns dinner on June 27. Liz Maden and Jan Speer are helping to coordinate this meal. Reach out to them if you would like to help.

Franklin First UMC is looking for other people to serve dinner on June 22 at the Antioch UMC Family Fun Night. Let Rebecca Little know if you are interested in helping with this and she’ll pass the word along.

Please contact Rebecca Little if you have questions or need more info.

  • We are worshipping in person together this Sunday at 8:15 and 10:45 a.m. Masks are optional.

This week's worship services will be live streamed and recorded on our church website and on Facebook. Currently the worship bulletin is available on the website then by clicking on News Folder tab.

The 2023 flower sign-up sheets are in the Church Office. Arrangements are $50.00 each and can be taken home after the end of the 10:45 worship service. Flowers can also be reserved using the Sign-Up Genius link and select the Sunday/Sundays you want or you may contact Dana Smyth 615-794-6721.
