Bake and Burn – February 11

We have 8 signed up to bake empty tombs and burn palms this Sunday from 1:30-3, at Mrs. April’s house. It's not too late to let April know if your 3rd-5th grader is able to join us. The ashes created will be used during the Ash Wednesday service, 2/14 at 7:00 p.m. Please RSVP to April (ajackson@bethlehemumc.com) so that we have enough supplies.

    February Sunday School

This Sunday, kids are invited to come ready to celebrate God's love! Let's wear our red and heart-covered clothes, as we celebrate the love of our Good Shepherd who searches for one little lost lamb, even though there are 99 waiting in safety. During the 9:30 hour, we'll see love in action as Jesus washes his followers' feet. We'll put a little action behind our own love and make cards for some of our sick and older Bethlehem friends. Please contact April (ajackson@bethlehemumc.com) if you have any questions or need more info.

    Support Our Youth

The Youth have invited the whole church for their SOUPer bowl party in the Gym at noon on Sunday. Have some tasty soup for lunch and help support the Youth missions.

    Parent’s Night Out

Parents' Night Out (PNO) – PJs, Pancakes, Painting, Games, & a Movie!!! - March 1 from 5:30 - 8:30 for all Bethlehem kids. Please be sure to RSVP by February 27. Kids will learn how to make their own pancakes, play games, paint, and watch a movie. Kids are invited to wear their pjs and bring a game from home that they'd like to play with BUMC friends. Please contact April (ajackson@bethlehemumc.com) to reserve your spot for this fun evening.

    Vacation Bible School

This summer, we're diving deep below the surface to build a strong faith! VBS Kids' Camp is June 10 - 14 from 9:00 a.m. – noon. Join us for an amazing undersea adventure where we’ll experience the ever-flowing, never-ending love of God. At Scuba VBS, kids will be immersed in the Word as they make new friends, sing & dance, play games, explore, and play! For more info or if you have questions, please contact April Jackson (ajackson@bethlehemumc.com).

    Children’s Church

Please make sure that you use the Sign Up sheets in the Narthex to register your children. If possible, please sign them in before the service begins. Children's church is offered during each service.

    Worship Bags

Worship bags are on the hooks in the hallway across from Pastor Craig’s office. Keep us in mind if you get tired of your Rubik's cubes or other quiet gadgets and want to donate new or lightly used items.

    Nursery Available

Nursery is available for children 3 and under, on Sunday mornings from 8:10 a.m. through the end of the 10:45 service.

  • Dear Parents and Youth,

It’s almost here! Souper Bowl Cook-Off is just a few days away. Thank you to everyone who has signed up to bring something or volunteer to serve. We could still use two more dozen brownies and a few hands to help clean-up. Please use this link (https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0B4FA4A728A1F4C61-47607401-souper#/) to sign-up to bring something and volunteer. All proceeds will support Youth Missions and Outreach. Youth will receive credit in their account for their time.

All youth will meet in the gym on Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. to help with prep for Souper Bowl Cook-Off. No Youth Group on Sunday night. Enjoy the Super Bowl with your friends and family. We will resume our normal schedule on February 18.

On Saturday, February 24, we will meet at 8:30 a.m. to travel to Belle Meade UMC as we jointly host a Sweet Potato Drop with Society of St. Andrew. The Society of St. Andrew brings people together to harvest and share healthy food, reduce food waste and build caring communities by offering nourishment to hungry neighbors. We will sort nearly 15,000 lbs. of sweet potatoes that will be sent out to community agencies for distribution. All youth, parents, siblings, friends are invited to attend. Registration will open next week.

“Bread of life, bread of Heaven.

Give us this day, our daily bread.

    Feed those, who are hungry.”
