Open to Everyone, covers a wide array of topics from current events to cultural commentary.
Named after a former Bethlehem UMC Minister, this class is aimed at Empty Nesters and focuses on deep theological questions.
A class of adult women of all ages. They study various contemporary Christian literatures relating to their daily lives.
Open to all, though ages tend to be 40s - 60s. This group decided on their name based on the Biblical teachings in Matthew, Mark & Luke This is a relaxed class that encourages people to come as they are and be themselves. They tend to study modern-day theologians
A compassionate, caring group of ages 70s -90s. There are 15-20 members in the class. Everyone is welcome. Class members facilitate each week's lesson. The class chooses the 6-week series of lessons. After watching a 15-minute video with a study guide and leader guide, the facilitator leads the discussion.
Bethlehem’s newest class to be formed and is comprised of various age groups. They use various materials for their lesson planning.
Every year youth 6th grade and older are invited to participate in confirmation classes to learn about the United Methodist Church and Bethlehem’s history along with beliefs of the United Methodist Church.
Join us in the Small Youth Room every Sunday morning to watch, listen and/or discuss films, media, music, and current events, through the lens of scripture. We talk about living out the story of God in the midst of our culture today.
