Weekly Greeting - June 14, 2024

Dear Bethlehem,

The third meeting of the Tennessee-Western Kentucky Annual Conference will be held next week in Murfreesboro, TN on June 17-19, 2024.

Rev. Terry Carty and I will be attending as clergy members, Jim Allen and my wife Stephanie will be attending as at-large Harpeth District members, and Dianne Holland will be attending as our lay member from Bethlehem.  Karen Ward is our alternate member.

As Bo Turner announced, I am projected to return to serve as the senior pastor of Bethlehem for the 2024-2025 church year.  Stephanie and I are both very excited about serving with you and grateful to be returning as part of the Bethlehem church family.

Our District Superintendent, Dr. Vona Wilson is projected to begin serving as the Assistant to the new Bishop who will be assigned to the TWK conference in September.  Rev. B.J. Brack is projected to begin serving as the Harpeth River District Superintendent beginning July 1, 2024.

Please join me in congratulating Dr. Wilson on her new appointment and welcoming Rev. Brack to our district.  If you would like to send them a card or letter, the mailing address for the district office is: 4241 Arno Road, Franklin TN, 37064

Please pray for our new District Superintendent and our upcoming Annual Conference as we seek to represent Bethlehem as followers of Jesus and as part of the family of God.

God bless!

Craig

We are continuing our “On Purpose” worship series this week as we explore and celebrate who we are as the people of God.  Our text is John 21:1-19, one of the most powerful and moving passages in all of Scripture as Jesus sends Peter out to feed his lambs after Peter’s rejection of Jesus in Jerusalem.  God is a God of second chances and infinite grace.  What a mighty God we serve!
