Weekly Greeting - January 3, 2025

Greetings friends,

As we enter this brand new year, it is good to remember all the things that God has done and is doing for us.

May our hearts and ears be open to receive what God has for us in 2025.

King David opens one of the great Psalms of the Old Testament with the words: “I recall:”

I recall all you have done, O Lord;

I remember your wonderful deeds…

They are constantly in my thoughts.

I cannot stop thinking about your mighty works.

O God, your ways are holy.

Psalm 77:11-13

David found strength in looking back over his life.  He focuses on the many things God has done, including forgiveness, healing, redemption, steadfast love, and renewal of his youth.

Take some time to reflect on the things God has done and is doing in your life.  May we together think of the things God has done here at Bethlehem as we prepare our hearts for a new year and seek to faithfully receive all God has for us!

Happy New Year!
