Weekly Greeting - November 1, 2024
Greetings friends,
As Christians, we believe that our loving God cares for us and graciously provides for all our needs. This includes the needs we have to function as a congregation. However, this faith does not excuse us from acting responsibly when attending to financial matters. God calls us to be responsible stewards.
This month we will be focusing on the financial needs of our ministry. We will be celebrating what God has done through the people of Bethlehem and making plans for ministry in the coming year. Ministry takes money. We work hard at Bethlehem to protect, sustain, and grow the financial resources that support ministry. We are also investigating new revenue streams so that we can continue to reach our community and world with the love of Jesus Christ.
As has been our tradition we will soon be sending out letters to our members and regular attenders with estimate of giving cards that enable us to plan for our ministry together.
When we carefully care for the resources God has entrusted with us we become partners in God’s mission and help bring forth God’s abundance. Please watch for your estimate of giving card and letter and prayerfully complete the card. We will begin collecting them during worship on November 24. Thank you for all you do to support the ministry of Bethlehem!
Blessings,
Craig __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
This Sunday is All Saint’s Sunday. We will also be continuing our “Grace Wins” worship series and begin our stewardship emphasis for 2025. Our text is Psalm 8 as we focus on who God is and who we are as the people of God. We will remember and honor those among us who have died this year during worship. Come ready to praise God and give God thanks for all that God has done and is doing in our lives!
