Weekly Greeting - October 18, 2024
Greetings friends,
Trunk ‘R Treat is just around the corner!
It has been said “people don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care.” Trunk or Treat gives us an opportunity as a congregation to let the families of our community know we care about them and want them to be a part of our life together.
Church growth experts tell us how important it is for congregations to offer intergenerational events so that people of different ages in the church can get to know one another and learn from one another. Trunk or Treat is a fun way for all the people of our congregation and community to meet together and benefit from time spent together.
Bounces and more from 4:26-6:26 p.m. in the gym with free pizza. Trunk ‘R Treat will begin in the parking lot at 6:30. Come on out and bring family and friends and decorate your trunk!
Blessings,
Craig

This Sunday is Laity Sunday. Laity Sunday is observed on the third Sunday in October. Each year the United Methodist Church celebrates the ministry and witness of laypersons everywhere through a special service. Our lay leader, Neill Little, will be speaking at Bethlehem and several of our laypeople will be taking part in the service.
