Weekly Greeting - September 6, 2024

Greetings friends,

Education has always been an important part of Wesleyan spirituality.  I am grateful for all the opportunities we provide for Christian formation for all ages here at Bethlehem.

I am especially excited about Rev. Terry’s Sunday class that will follow our current worship series, “Roots.”  We will be diving into the basics of our faith and those things that make us unique as United Methodists.  The more we understand our heritage, the more compelling it is for others.

Wesleyan spirituality has always emphasized love, the importance of growing spiritually, and God’s grace.  We have a rich and exciting heritage.  Invite a friend to join us.  The class will be held in the Banquet Hall at 9:30 on Sunday mornings.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Blessings,

Craig

We begin our Roots worship series this Sunday with a focus on baptism.  Our text is Mark 1:4-12.  We will especially focus on Jesus’ baptism and what his coming into the world means for us all.  Come ready to remember your baptism and be thankful.  If you have not been baptized and are interested in baptism, please contact Pastor Craig or Pastor Terry or contact the church office (615-794-6721).
